Sapphire HD 7870 XT with Boost Features Dual-X Cooler Technology

Sapphire, a prominent manufacturer and global supplier of graphics solutions, has introduced one more addition to its HD 7800 series which is the Sapphire HD 7870 XT with Boost. Unlike the other graphic cards in the HD 7800 line up which were based on Pitcairn architecture, the Sapphire HD 7870 XT adopts AMD's Tahiti architecture.

It includes all the features of the architecture including the 256-bit memory interface, 96 texture units and 1536 stream processors. The graphic card is configured to run with 2GB GDDR5 memory at 1500MHz. It features a core clock of 925MHz which can rise upto 975MHz with PowerTune Boost, which is AMD's dynamic performance enhancement for the ultimate gaming experience.

In addition to the above features, the new graphic card comes integrated with Sapphire's latest Dual-X Cooler Technology, certified heat pipes and two aerofoil fans with dust dispersing bearings. All these peripherals help in efficient cooling and low noise operations.

You can also utilize the latest Sapphire TriXX overclocking tool for tuning the GPU voltage and core and memory clocks while continuously displaying the temperature. The tool is available for free download from the official website of SAPPHIRE. It also supports manual control of fan speed, user created fan profiles and the ability to save maximum four different performance settings.

Thus, game enthusiasts can now experience enhanced gaming with Sapphire HD 7870 XT with Boost. I am going to update to this as early as possible.
